- Effective date. The notice applies from a stated date, normally the 1st of the month, until the next notification replaces it.
- Price per kg. This is the consumer price for gas by weight. Every filled-cylinder price is this figure times the kilograms of gas.
- Cylinder equivalent. Press coverage usually quotes the 11.8 kg domestic cylinder as well. At Rs 279.34 per kg that is Rs 3,296.
- What it leaves out. The notification does not set your delivery charge, cylinder deposit or exchange terms. THE LPG CO. confirms those separately before you agree.
